Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Software Architect Consultant to support a strategic Warehouse Management System (WMS) modernization initiative, which involves replacing the existing legacy WMS platform with a modern, scalable solution. The consultant will be responsible for defining the overall development strategy—including architecture standards, roadmaps, and milestones—and leading the design and implementation of custom extensions, integrations, documents, and label solutions.

Qualifications

– Proven experience in solution architecture for large-scale enterprise system implementations, preferably in supply chain or logistics domains.

– Strong background in cloud-native development using Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

– Expertise in designing and supporting custom development for WMS platforms, including extensions, APIs, and custom applications.

– Hands-on experience with label and document development tools, including: Loftware, MarkMagic, Crystal Reports.

– Familiarity with enterprise document and label workflows, including compliance and operational requirements.

– Strong understanding of architecture principles, scalability, performance optimization, and security.

– Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

– Define and lead the overall development strategy for the WMS modernization program, including architecture standards, roadmaps, and milestones.

– Architect and oversee the development of custom solutions and extensions for the new WMS platform.

– Design and implement document and label generation architecture for the new WMS platform.

– Collaborate with development teams to ensure cloud-native solutions are optimized for Azure and Google environments.

– Establish integration patterns and ensure seamless data flows between WMS and other enterprise systems.

– Ensure all custom developments adhere to enterprise architecture standards and best practices.

– Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the implementation lifecycle.

– Support testing, validation, and deployment of custom components and integrations.
