Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for working with CI&T’s clients to lead the development and execution of product deliveries that enhance customer experience and ultimately deliver value for our clients.
The Project Manager is expected to collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams to identify opportunities and develop product solutions that align with the product and company goals.
The Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of high-quality digital products for CI&T’s clients.
This role requires a blend of delivery excellence focus, client satisfaction, team building and development, IT services expertise, and strong management abilities to manage the delivery of products and services collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
In a nutshell, a CI&T Project manager is expected to:
Be Collaborative with peers, team and client, knowing to balance and conciliate all needs,

Be Proactive, Responsive and Skilled Communicator (sense of urgency and timely fashion communication with the client),

Have Sense of Ownership and convey it to the team (hold them accountable),
Know how to apply PMBOK basic competences (scope, time, cost, risk management) within Agile methodology,
Know how to deal with adversity and crisis,
Understand the fundamental importance of Psychological Safety in team building to have high-performing teams and foster it continuously.
Detailed Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a product roadmap that prioritizes features based on customer needs and business value.
Oversee the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring projects are delivered on time.
Manage the product backlog, prioritizing tasks and features based on customer impact and business objectives.
Provide strong and effective leadership in client meetings.
Act as the point of contact for product-related inquiries and communications.
Present product updates, insights, and performance metrics to executive leadership.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and partners.
Expected Skills & Experience
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple teams simultaneously.
Experience working within Agile software development methodologies.
Define, together with the client, the project scope, establishing goals, deliverables, and specific requirements.
Develop the project plan, including roadmap, resource allocation, budget, and closure plan (training, transfers, documentation).
Identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation and contingency strategies.
Monitor and control project progress, tracking the completion of activities and established milestones.
Manage the project team, assigning responsibilities, promoting collaboration, and ensuring team motivation.
Establish and maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, keeping them informed about progress and changes in the project.
Conduct follow-up meetings, status reviews, and project progress reports.
Manage project resources, including team, materials, and budget, ensuring their efficient and effective use.
Resolve problems and conflicts that may arise during project execution, seeking appropriate solutions.
Conduct post-project evaluation and documentation, including lessons learned and feedback for future improvements.
Plan the composition of the team, ensuring good sizing while considering the appropriate skills to face challenges.
Support the career development of team members, understanding their skills and facilitating their growth through the distribution of responsibilities.
Ensure that each team member fulfills their responsibilities.
Ensure that the team understands the purpose of their work and creates space for the team to collaborate on defining the product/project.
Develop new plans and define budgets for new projects for clients.
Support team leadership in carrying out their activities, maintaining effective communication and escalation channels.
Ensure budget control of the project, using established practices and tools for the project and by the client.
Act in crisis situations for corrections, adjustments, and possible improvements.
Contribute to the strategy for implementing AI on an enterprise scale, aiming to optimize processes, identify automation opportunities, and promote an organizational culture aligned with the Flow strategy. Develop and implement solutions that promote the effective use of AI across all areas of the company, seeking to improve performance and operational efficiency.
Familiarity with project management software.
Experience in the technology industry is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (advanced degree is a plus).
