CI&T is expanding the team in Brazil and is looking for an experienced QA Engineer for a global client. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure quality deliverables. Our challenge is to keep the client’s business running while we evolve its technology platform and product.

Responsibilities

– Be an integral part of the cross-functional team, actively contributing towards development of test strategy, tools, and services.

– Work closely with other quality teams to ensure that standards are maintained and improved.

– You will from time to time be required to undertake other duties of a similar nature as reasonably required by your line manager commensurate with the nature and level of the role.

Requirements for this challenge

– Experience in Manual Testing of Web Applications;

– Experience in formulating, managing and executing manual test plans;

– Regression testing;

– Web Security and Non-functional testing;

– Previous experience with NoSQL and relational databases;

– Basic/intermediate level of English and interest in continuing to develop this skill.

Nice to Have

– Previous experience in data projects acting as QA;

– Experience with Programming Languages (Java / Python will be a plus);

– Some experience with Test Automation on Web Applications UI and API QA;

– Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium/Cucumber and Cypress;

– Have already implemented automated tests in scenarios from scratch even with support, considering the test pyramid concept.
