This is a 2 month contract position with potential for extending, it is an opportunity to help build a full stack engineering practice in a ‘big data’ environment with many legacy systems ready to be modernized. This is an organizational change and we are looking for people who have strong experience and who like to voice their ideas and are ready to help drive change. If you are a developer who also cares about creating software that will get usage nationwide as well as affect the organization internally this is a good opportunity.

Initial project, we are attempting to use nodejs in multiple ways either as part of a full stack application development environment or to write scalable services. The pay is competitive, and negotiable based on experience. It is preferable that you be located in the Metro DC area, but remote work is possible.
