The person or persons who fills this position can be found doing any one of the following at any given time:

• Building web-based TV Applications for major media brands

• Collaborating with the rest of the development team to create information architecture, design sketches, wireframes and project quotes

• Assisting in the design of a user-interface for a new application

• Creating HTML/CSS/Javascript code

• Reviewing designs, products, and features with coworkers to offer and/or receive constructive criticism

• Learning a new technology

• Learning how to develop an application for a new platform

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years experience designing and building interactive interfaces

• Strong knowledge of HTML, Javascript, jQuery, CSS

• HTML5, CSS3, BackboneJS, NodeJS, MVC, and modern software design patterns

• A passion for innovation, working on small teams, and learning new technology

Great to haves:

• Experience working with applications loaded on devices such as mobile phones, set-top boxes and or TV’s.

• Solid understanding of a foundational language, i.e. C, C++

• Knowledge of Brightscript

• Fun, easy-going, but passionate personality

• Can handle yourself under large amounts of pressure, i.e. spontaneous Nerf gun battles, Go Kart Competitions
