At Viget, we partner with clients to imagine, design, and launch engaging digital products. As an intern, you’ll gain exposure to the major parts of a digital project by collaborating with team members from different disciplines. You’ll sit in on client meetings to observe presentations and consultations, contribute to both client work and internal initiatives, and meet regularly with your Advisor to review your progress toward individualized learning goals.

As a JavaScript Developer intern, you’ll sharpen your abilities by building web applications with React. You’ll create a wide range of projects—components, games, a custom app, and more. You’ll learn industry-standard testing practices and how to apply them. You’ll also take part in development team meetings and join pair‑programming sessions.

The internship takes place at our downtown Boulder, CO office. It runs for 10 weeks, from June 1 to August 7. Interns receive paid holidays on June 19 and July 3 and are expected to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility. Relocation support is not available.

Benefits include a $6,000 summer stipend paid monthly, with optional course credit. The office offers free coffee, seltzer, soda, and snacks, plus a weekly free lunch for all staff. You’ll also have frequent opportunities to connect with coworkers both in person and virtually, including during our weekly all‑hands meeting, and you’ll experience Viget’s lively summer activities and events.

Our interns must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S., as we cannot provide visa sponsorship. They are current college students, with preference given to juniors and seniors, though first‑year graduate students and early‑year undergraduates will also be considered. We look for individuals with a strong record of hard work and achievement, who take initiative, follow through on responsibilities, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively.

Our JavaScript Developer interns have experience building web applications with JavaScript and frameworks like Vue or React. They prioritize strong user experiences, have some formal training in software development, and enjoy working closely with both front‑end developers and designers.
