I am looking for a part-time Java/Spring Developer to work with me on producing videos.
You’ll be creating and producing educational videos (screencasts) on various Spring topics.
Budget and Time Commitment
Overall, you’ll spend around 12 hours for an hour of video and the budget for an hour of video is 1000$.
Of course, the process will be slightly slower initially depending on your experience with speaking, editing, etc; as you get a handle on it, it will definitely become faster.
Additional Details
You’ll be working on screencasts focused on various Java and Spring topics.
Here’s how the process will work for a new video – for example – a 10 min screencast.
I’ll provide a quick sample project and a high level overview of the main points to hit in the video.
You’ll go through the project to understand it and then you’ll do the recording. After a quick editing pass you’ll send me the draft and I’ll provide feedback.
Finally – you’ll make some (minimal) changes based on my feedback.
Generally, for 10 minutes of video, expect about 2 hours of work.
Here’s the Baeldung YouTube channel to get a better idea of what these videos look like.
