About the role

It’s an exciting time to join BookingBug. We’re scaling up our Technology teams, and looking for an experienced Mobile Developer to join us. The BookingBug platform is built on the AWS cloud platform, and is constantly in a state of expansion. We employ various frameworks, from front-end AngularJS interfaces to MVC frameworks and design patterns for the construction of our back-end APIs.

As iOS Mobile Developer, you’re dedicated to writing clean, maintainable code and implementing UIs with awesome user experience and design. You’ll own and drive technical projects from specification through to delivery and beyond. Your role will involve:

  • Maintaining and updating and our iOS applications, and potentially building new iOS applications

  • Maintaining and extending our Swift and AngularJS SDK

  • Fixing, updating, building upon and providing clients with support on, our HAL API (Ruby)

  • Embedding interfaces built with our AngularJS SDK in mobile applications

  • Building and understanding automated testing systems

  • Building, maintaining and updating Android Applications

  • Hands-on development: analysing product specifications, designing implementations, writing code and rapidly delivering features

  • Contributing technical ideas and suggestions to enhance the direction of the product

  • Writing efficient, maintainable and reusable code and tests
