We are seeking a Senior Inventory Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will deliver essential analysis related to inventory and product margin reporting, while also providing operational and ad hoc support to the Inventory Accounting team. You will report to the Inventory Accounting Manager and collaborate with teams across our global organization. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and skill sets.
This is a hybrid role based in either our Philadelphia, PA, or Miami, FL office, with on-site work required Tuesday through Thursday during local business hours.

Compensation:
• Employee pay is based on market data and may vary by location. The salary range below reflects what we reasonably expect to offer. Starting pay is determined by skills, experience, qualifications, interview performance, and market conditions. • This position is eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus and participation in Gopuff’s equity incentive plan.
• Base salary range: $80,000–$100,000
You Will:
• Prepare detailed month-end reports on inventory balances and cost of goods sold
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Review and analyze perpetual inventory records, working with operations to resolve discrepancies
• Collaborate across teams to understand inventory transactions, including coordination with 3PL partners
• Work with merchandising and operations to identify and reduce invoice pricing and receiving variances
• Prepare audit-ready documentation for external audits
• Perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses as needed
You Have:
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution, ideally in Accounting or Finance
• Preferably a CPA certification
• At least three years of inventory accounting experience or three to five years of general accounting experience
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including Index/Match, pivot tables, lookup functions, and macros
• Ability to extract and analyze inventory or general ledger data and identify key variance drivers
• Experience with Oracle ERP is a plus
• Familiarity with SQL and business intelligence tools is a plus
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively in a remote environment, and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical judgment and creative problem-solving ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
• A self-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative
