We are seeking a skilled Interviewer and Storyteller with a background in journalism to join our team on a part-time contract basis. This role centers on interviewing our clients and team members to capture meaningful, personal stories that reflect the impact of our work. These narratives will help showcase the human side of our brand across various platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Interviewing
• Conduct monthly interviews with clients, team members, and stakeholders to gather personal stories and insights about the effects of our work.
• Use your interviewing expertise to draw out emotional, compelling stories that resonate with our audience and demonstrate the transformative nature of our services.

Story Development
• Write monthly impact stories based on interview content, emphasizing the human and personal elements.
• Ensure each story is engaging, genuine, and consistent with our brand voice.
• Partner with the marketing team to refine stories for publication across multiple channels, including blogs, newsletters, and social media.

Content Collaboration
• Work closely with internal teams to understand key projects and client relationships that can inspire strong narratives.
• Adjust your interviewing and storytelling methods to fit different platforms and audiences.

Story Examples and Inspiration
• Collaborate with the team to review story examples that reflect the type of content we aim to create.
• Draw inspiration from existing material while bringing a fresh, individualized perspective to each new story.

Qualifications
• Background in journalism, communications, or a related field, with strong skills in interviewing and storytelling.
• Proven ability to craft compelling, human-centered stories that connect emotionally with readers.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple interviews, and meet monthly deadlines.
• Strong writing and editing abilities, with talent for capturing personal narratives.

Hours and Compensation
This is a part-time contract position requiring approximately 8–12 hours per month. Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
