As a part of the WPE Team, the Internal Events Team designs and executes events that drive connection, culture, and engagement across both in-office and remote environments. They plan events like flagship company-wide gatherings to in-office celebrations, DEIB initiatives and virtual experiences. Their goal is to create meaningful experiences that bring Plaids together, reinforce company values, and ensure that all Plaids—whether remote or in-office—feel included, engaged, and connected.
As the Internal Events Manager, you’ll be responsible for designing and executing exceptional internal events that strengthen our teams, deepen engagement, and reinforce the culture that makes Plaid an incredible place to work. Responsibilities

    • Plan and execute high-impact internal events that foster connection, engagement, and alignment across teams.
    • Own end-to-end event strategy – From creative concepting to seamless execution, you’ll oversee in-person, virtual, and hybrid experiences that elevate the employee experience.
    • Experiment with new formats, creative themes, and unique experiences to keep Plaid’s internal events fresh, engaging, and unforgettable.
    • Create and manage event budgets, track and report on spending to ensure cost efficiency for events.
    • Use data and feedback from employees to measure the success of programs and identify areas for improvement.
    • Role may have direct oversight of 1-2 Event Specialists.
Requirements

    • 5-7 years in Internal Events
    • 2+ years in management
    • Experience managing culture and employee experience delivering creative solutions to engage a distributed workforce
    • Experience excelling in an environment where tactical and strategic activities operate in parallel, implementing ideas from ideation to measurement/evaluation
    • Well-developed planning and organizational skills, and ability to flourish in an environment where you work on multiple projects simultaneously
$112,320 – $174,960 a year
Target base salary for this role is between $112,320 and $174,960 per year. Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience and skillset, and location. Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.
