Aledade is looking for a remote Senior Integration Engineer. You will be responsible for facilitating the acquisition of healthcare data from external vendors and feeding it into the Aledade data warehouse and application layer to help empower primary care physicians to deliver high quality healthcare to millions of patients at the right time.
Senior Integrations Engineers at Aledade maintain, improve, and expand our data pipelines. We’re looking for our engineers to be self-starting and proactive; they are expected to serve as a trusted resource on business logic as well as system architecture. Every engineer at Aledade works collaboratively with a team of experts to improve health outcomes and reduce the cost of the American healthcare system.
Aledade has a US based permanently remote engineering and product team.
Here’s what you’ll do:
Develop and implement scalable and performant solutions using industry standard tools (NextGen Connect/Mirth, Pentaho and Python)
Help to define complex project requirements, work as a trusted contributor to meet those requirements, and maintain those systems
Serve as a subject matter expert in collaboration with the team’s customers using Agile practices
Mentor and coach more junior engineers including thorough pull request reviews for other developers and be receptive to critical feedback on your own work
Build and support interfaces to provide accurate and timely data for our practice partners.

Requirements:
4 or more years experience with both existing and emerging interoperability standards such as HL7 V2.x, as well as CCD/C-CDA, IHE profile, 837 claims, and FHIR
4 or more years experience as an integrations engineer as part of a cross-functional team helping to automate processes
2 or more years of experience working with SQL or other database querying language on large multi-table data sets
1 or more years of experience coaching other engineers
Demonstrated ability to write well-designed, well-tested, and well-documented code
Familiarity and comfort working with Docker containers
Bonus points if you also have:
Cloud deployment experience, or CI/CD experience
