Overview

The team at Moltin is building a suite of tools to help developers create eCommerce websites and applications. At the heart of our effort is the API, which delivers the required data and processing to any device in over 130 countries. Your role will be to join the core team on the API and be responsible for integrating a wide range of third-party services such as channel partners, accountancy software and payment gateways. You will have an opportunity to contribute and drive innovation at a quickly moving startup that will benefit from your experience.

Requirements

As a full-time platform engineer at Moltin you are expected to do the following comfortably.

Pick-up and learn new concepts, in both engineering and product, and be able to apply that knowledge quickly. Our stack is PHP, Postgres, Nginx, and Redis, at least some basic knowledge is a big plus. Basic knowledge of third-party tools, such as channel partners, accountancy software and payment gateways is a plus. High tolerance for poorly written code and documentation (theirs, not ours!). Ability to work well in a small team and to be ready to take the lead while we&rsquore growing. Lead and take the team into new directions that will improve our technology, product, and developer experience.
