We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Instructional Designer to join our Education and Media Team at Caseware, a leading SaaS company. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement engaging, effective e-learning content that meets the organization’s educational needs and those of its users.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including subject matter experts, product managers, developers, and marketing—as well as regional training teams, to produce high-quality learning materials while ensuring content accuracy and alignment with business goals. You will report directly to the UK EMT Manager.

This is a full-time position on a 12-month contract.

What you will be doing:
– Design and develop e-learning content that is engaging, interactive, and aligned with learning objectives.
– Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to create effective digital learning solutions.
– Use UX/UI principles to improve learner engagement and satisfaction through intuitive, visually appealing interfaces.
– Create course development plans for the online academy, including storyboards, scripts, and multimedia integration.
– Regularly review and update existing learning content to keep it current, accurate, and aligned with changes in organizational processes, products, or services.
– Manage end-to-end development of e-learning projects, including timelines, resource coordination, and feedback handling.
– Support the setup, configuration, and management of content on Learning Management Systems (LMS), ensuring correct functionality and learner access.
– Provide technical support to users by troubleshooting issues related to the LMS and e-learning content.
– Be willing to travel to regional offices and client sites as needed.

What you will bring:
– A Bachelor’s (HBO) degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
– Proven experience in e-learning design, instructional design, or digital learning development.
– Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline 360, Synthesia, and Camtasia, plus experience with LMS platforms.
– Knowledge of gamification, course structure, didactic design, and UX/UI principles and how to apply them in digital learning environments.
– Understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles.
– Experience designing interactive learning modules and multimedia, including video, graphics, and animations.
– Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and manage feedback cycles.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in course content and documentation.
– Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
– Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, product managers, developers, and marketing.
– Academic background, certifications, or professional experience in accounting, auditing, or finance (e.g., CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent).
– Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English.

The Tech Stack you will be working with:
– E-learning authoring tools: Articulate Storyline 360, Synthesia, Adobe Captivate, H5P, and Camtasia.
– Learning Management Systems (LMS): Experience with various LMS platforms for managing and delivering e-learning content.
– Project management tools: Monday.com, Microsoft Planner, Confluence, and Miro.
– Microsoft applications: Used for day-to-day work and collaboration.

Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 per year
