Job Summary NoteBowl is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Systems Engineer to help build core infrastructure, work with open source technologies and back office foundational infrastructure for the NoteBowl Platform.

Responsibilities Maintaining core infrastructure including LDAP, automation and monitoring tools Help architect and implement performant and secure systems to build out our infrastructure and support application developers Ability to take a project from conception to completion with minimal assistance Participate in an on-call schedule.

Requirements 3+ years experience with Linux system administration 3+ years of experience with networking principles, firewalls, load balancers, LDAP 5+ years experience in developing, implementing, and building infrastructure 5+ years experience with design, implementation and management of highly available (HA) system architectures Ruby and/or Go experience a plus

Description Reports to Director of Infrastructure Driven to find the best solution available Maintains up-to-date, thorough knowledge of best practices for system deployment and scalability Innovate; excited to design things and contribute to open source communities Expresses opinions about plans or directions the team is preparing to take Able to communicate with people without a technical background about technical issues Able to learn and leverage new technologies to solve complex problems
