Build the infrastructure that powers better access to banking

Prelim is how banks onboard their customers for business checking accounts, personal loans, etc online. Banks are stuck in the past with bad online customer experiences that result in real people losing out. We’re fixing a broken system, and with that comes lots of fun challenges, security, isolation, scaling!

You will:

Build a container orchestration solution for live-deployment
Design and implement cloud development APIs
Deploy and operate server clusters (DevOps)
Work with the team to support the product, focusing on the infrastructure architecture and implementation.
Help keep the product secure by building, maintaining and understanding security features.

You may be a fit for this role if you:

Expert-level knowledge in one of systems programming languages: Go, Rust, C++, etc
Understanding of routing, Linux network stack, proxies, load-balancers, etc.
Experience working with containers and understanding of server virtualization
Experience deploying maintaining large systems
Experience in API and RPC design
Self-directed and comfortable working autonomously
Ability to debug problems in production systems, i.e. comfortable reading logs

Bonus Points:

Expert Node.js programmer
Appreciation for simplicity and pragmatism
Experience building Platform/Infrastructure/Runtime as a Service
Contributed to relevant open-source projects: Linux kernel, container solution, etc.
