OpBandit is seeking an ambitious, motivated individual to head up business development efforts as an early, core member of our expanding team. The ideal candidate would have experience building relationships, strategic partnerships, and sales in the media, broadcast, and/or content marketing spaces. This role will spearhead initiatives to drive market adoption of our product, build revenue streams, identify new market opportunities, as well as help manage high-profile client accounts.
Role & Responsibilities * Generate and nurture leads with prospective clients * Develop relationships with established industry players * Design enterprise sales strategies and execute plans for growing respective verticals * Interface with existing clients to understand their challenges, processes, and benefits from product use, as well as help identify opportunities for improvement * Track and highlight relevant business developments in the space that could be used to drive new initiatives * And probably ready to wear a lot of other hats, honestly
Ideal Background / Qualifications * Familiarity of trends and products emerging across the wider digital media space * Extensive experience working in the digital media space within top-tier organizations, be it online publishing, broadcast media, or agency/brand publishing * Established track record of building revenue through sales +/ partnership deals * Ability to market products effectively by seeking to understand the goals and motivations of prospective media/advertiser clients * Entrepreneurial drive by nature, with a curious streak to boot — both learning more about what you love to do, as well as what’s outside of your speciality
