Welocalize is seeking skilled simultaneous interpreters to provide onsite support for an upcoming life sciences conference in Halong Bay, Vietnam (travel and accommodation will be provided). This role involves delivering real-time interpretation from English to Korean during plenary sessions over two days. The event will focus on medical devices and life sciences, requiring linguistic precision and familiarity with technical terminology.

Main Duties

• Provide simultaneous interpretation from English to Korean (KO-kr) during plenary sessions.
• Work in tandem with a partner interpreter to ensure smooth and accurate language delivery.
• Interpret specialized content related to medical devices and life sciences.
• Attend the onsite event at the InterContinental Halong Bay Resort, Vietnam, on the specified dates.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in simultaneous interpretation for English to Korean (KO-kr).
• Familiarity with medical, life sciences, or technical subjects.
• Availability to work onsite in Vietnam on July 27 and July 28, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am each day.
• Flexibility to travel to Halong Bay, Vietnam (travel and accommodation will be provided).

Bonus If You Have

• Previous experience interpreting for conferences or events in the medical devices industry.
• Familiarity with working in Vietnam or Southeast Asia.
• Ability to adapt quickly and collaborate effectively in dynamic event settings.
