The giant hairy problem you’ll be solving:
We’ve got some pretty aggressive goals for growing our business and we’re building a fully functional team to drive growth forward. Engineers, marketers, and designers all the same team with a single goal in mind: drive as much growth in as short of a time as possible.
We already have a world-class team in place. But how much faster can we go? 10X? 100X? This is where you come in. You’ll work with us to find every possible source of growth.
Standard marketing strategies aren’t going to cut it. We need to blend marketing with engineering in order to scale our funnels by an order of magnitude. We aggressively A/B test all of our ideas, try every hack we can think of for scaling acquisition, and wrestle with untested channels that no one else has tapped yet.
The caliber of talent on this team is high. You’ll be pushed to your limits and on the cutting edge.
You’ll learn more in 3 months than you did all of last year.
We’re not here to follow mediocre best practices. We want to deeply understand what drives a business forward. Which variables have all the leverage? How do we persuade people to take action? How can we scale beyond our wildest expectations?
We have a simple goal on the Growth team: learn faster than anyone else in the industry. The faster we learn, the faster we grow the company. You’ll be right in the thick of it. There’s no ego on this team so your ideas will have a chance to prove themselves just like everyone else. We force ourselves to constantly evolve our understanding of what actually drives growth.
We reach this depth of understanding by operating at an incredibly high tempo. Our iteration and feedback loops happen at a blistering pace. Testing combined with an intense tempo means you’ll learn faster than any of your peers.
You’ll spend your time:
Running back-to-back A/B tests on every part of our business.
Building the front-end for campaigns that bend the internet to our will.
Experimenting with freemium tools and viral loops.
Finding ways to hack channels to acquire traffic and users in ways no one has thought of before.
Building internal tools and infrastructure for our data and testing.
