As a Graduate Developer at Sparx, you’ll be an integral part of the team from day one, forming the heart of our technical expertise and potential.
You’ll be joining our team of games and software developers, supporting the development of the technical framework of the Sparx system. If software is your thing, you’ll be writing tablet native code (we currently work on iPads) to run the Sparx resource. You’ll get to see software you’ve helped program go live in a classroom the next day. Then you’ll be diving straight back in to making it better, getting into the detail, zooming out to look at the bigger picture, solving each problem and trying out the next idea. If gaming is more your thing, you’ll be supporting the designing, programming and testing of high quality games for a variety of subjects. The games you help create will need to get under the skin of what makes students tick and, working closely with the expert team around you, uncover exactly what is going to help them overcome each obstacle in understanding that they face.
Things happen at breakneck speed at Sparx and you’ll need to think creatively to help the team get from A to B. Our work is ever evolving so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to make your mark and take on increasing responsibility as time goes on.
