About this role

We are looking for an experienced (senior/mid) Golang Engineer to join us on a mission to make permissionless, interoperable data serve as the foundational building blocks not just for Web3, but for the future of the internet itself. You will be working on the integration of different blockchains onto the Data Layer, as well as working on the Data Layer SDK. This is not only an opportunity to get to work with different blockchains and live data streams, but working on an SDK means being able to influence the coding experience of other developers.

We’re a remote-first company, so you can be based anywhere, as long as your schedule is aligned with European timezones (and you’re always free to come to the offices in Vilnius/Kaunas, too!)

Main responsibilities

• Develop, launch and maintain data streams applications for different blockchains

• Develop and maintain the SDK for blockchain data streams applications

• Provide input and participate in technical discussions which define development plans.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to our technology and products.

• Work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solutions.

• Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule.

Requirements

• Extensive backend development experience (5+ years)

• Solid hands-on experience developing software products in Golang

• Experience deploying and managing applications in a Linux environment

• Experience with Docker, Linux, RPC, Data streams.

• A genuine interest in the latest innovations in the field and being a technology enthusiast.

• You’re proactive in your work.

• Excellent English skills (written & spoken)

Additional preferred qualifications (bonus, not required):

• Knowledge of WASM, WASI, knowledge and understanding of different blockchains and their nodes.

• Hands-on experience in Nodejs

• Experience with DevOps and Kubernetes

• Understanding of blockchain, smart contracts, and decentralized application development
