SemanticBits is looking to hire a talented software developer who can help us build modern digital health services implemented as highly scalable Golang services deployed on the AWS cloud in Docker containers. You will be developing microservices to deliver patient data to help reduce healthcare costs and fraud. The project will be implemented using an Agile, Scrum-based process that includes Sprint Planning/Review/Retrospectives and daily stand-ups. Our team emphasizes test-driven development in a continuous delivery environment.
This is a remote position and can be fulfilled from any location within the US and its territories. SemanticBits will provide a laptop.

Requirements
Strong experience with Go is a must
Experience with writing automated unit/integration tests for Go is a must
Experience with Go dependency management via dep is required
Deployment and testing via containerization with Docker highly preferred
Relational databases – should be very comfortable with GORM as well as writing SQL, defining relational schemas, and writing data migrations
REST service development in Go is highly desired
Continuous build and test automation through Jenkins is a plus
Experience deploying and testing applications on AWS preferred
Experience with git (workflows, merge strategies, etc) is strongly desired
Experience with writing Unix shell scripts is a plus
Knowledge of modern design patterns and building enterprise-grade production applications
Excellent command of written and spoken English
