Responsibilities: Help improve performance and functionality of and grow the Gravity4’s ad serving platform which currently handles hundreds of thousands of requests per seconds. Almost all requests require complex decision making with large sets of sparse data and must be returned within tens of milliseconds. Work on our next generation infrastructure components in Go lang. Work with infrastructure components (ZeroMQ, Postgres, Cassandra). Work with a dynamic team on a variety of projects and new product features. You will work with other Go Developers and Performance Engineers to solve frontend performance bottlenecks and related issues.

Requirements: Willing to learning new languages (polyglot engineer or desire to become one). At least three (3) yeas as a programmer with some experience in Go Lang. Previous experience in C, C++ or Java will be considered. Experience developing and debugging server applications or web services, building backend and network related Go lang applications, and with various web APIs. Experience in GOlang with proven contributions to the Golang open source community. Working with technical teams and assisting with their needs, seeing a project from start to completion, and adapting to changing circumstances and expectations. Elegant programming style and ability to be an individual contributor. A detail-oriented approach to development and an interest in developing new skills.
