– Create and run specialized data queries, reports, reconciliations, and analyses for Accounting, Tax, Finance, Internal and External Audit, SEC reporting, and other teams using SQL, VBA, Excel power queries, and similar tools.
– Assess and document business processes through narratives and flowcharts.
– Coordinate system updates, including planning, execution, testing, and overall project management.
– Partner with Engineering to build meaningful reports.
– Lead special projects involving revenue recognition, order‑to‑cash processes, and workflow improvements.
– Collaborate with leaders across Match brands to standardize accounting data.
– Maintain advanced knowledge of technical accounting and tax rules, and design solutions to ensure compliance.
– Work with IT to ensure secure data transmission and recovery.
– Partner with Audit to assess, manage, and recommend control solutions.
We could be a match if you have:
– At least 5 years of accounting experience and hands‑on work with accounting systems, including implementations, custom reporting, and process flows.
– Experience with SQL, VBA, or similar tools.
– Advanced Excel proficiency.
– Strong analytical skills to research, troubleshoot, and solve issues such as account reconciliations, reporting inconsistencies, and system errors.
– Adaptability, flexibility, and a desire for varied, project‑based work.
– A degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
Salary: $110,000 – $120,000 per year
This is the expected base salary range for the role. Actual pay may vary based on responsibilities, experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market conditions. The listed range reflects compensation for a Dallas‑based position and may be adjusted for other locations if remote work is approved.
