We are seeking a Software Engineer, Gen AI & Web Apps to join our team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will work on complex projects, contribute to both back-end and front-end efforts, and grow with fellow engineers as you build solutions for our SaaS products that help scientists save time and improve experiment quality.

Pay range: $100,000–$125,000
We understand compensation is a key factor when choosing a role. This range represents our target hiring range, based on market data, internal equity, and the current scope of the position. We often hire near the midpoint, but individual offers may differ depending on experience, skills, and scope.

You will:
• Develop and deliver new features and bug fixes within a cross-functional team of data engineers, PMs, and AI scientists.
• Work closely with your immediate team of 3–5 engineers on technical investigations, solution design, and high-quality implementation.
• Build and maintain reliable web applications that integrate with LLMs and generative AI workflows.
• Write clean, well-tested, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to maintain strong engineering standards.
• Help troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly.
• Contribute to projects supporting major pharmaceutical companies, ensuring data security and reliability.
• Learn from top-tier engineers to accelerate your technical and professional development.

You have:
• Experience building full-stack applications using Python/Django on the back end and React/TypeScript on the front end.
• 2+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• A basic understanding of GenAI concepts such as prompting, RAG workflows, or working with LLM APIs.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to ask questions and dig into complex problems to find solutions.

Nice to have:
• Experience with authentication flows and SSO, such as OAuth or SAML.
• Familiarity with vector databases or AI orchestration frameworks like LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Experience working in regulated industries like HealthTech or FinTech.
