We are excited to be adding to our engineering crew for our amazing Mirandus game. You will assist in building an amazing RPG sent in an epic fantasy world. Did I forget to mention we are fully remote? Responsibilities
Ability to anticipate actual needs of the project (rather than all possible features) and build robust proof-of-concept features quickly for iteration
Ability to take prototype systems and make them function appropriately as a shippable feature
Knowledge of Unity’s tools and technology and limitations thereof when scaling to hundreds or thousands of GameObjects
Excited about building good player experiences
Capable of using a debugger, able to troubleshoot problems
Willing to ask for help when stuck
Essential Skills and Qualifications
7+ years Unity Engine experience
7+ years with C#
Shipped at least one game with a professional game team
Has created significant gameplay features by taking direction from a designer
Self-motivated, stellar work ethic, fun collaborator
Excited by problem-solving
Fearless
Nice-to-Have Skills and Qualifications
Love of games and desire to work for a company that builds games
Comfort with working remotely on a full-time basis
