This is a full-time, remote, contract job. The project has already started andis in production, but we are adding lots of new features and fixing occasional bugs. Itis expected to last the rest of 2016 and likely beyond.

You can be based anywhere in the United States, but only U.S. citizens can be considered at this time. You can set your own work schedule and hours and work anywhere with an internet connection, but we’re looking for about 40 hours a week and for people who are available via Slack/Skype/email/phone during common business hours.

We are building a web app for managing a large company’s repair vehicle fleet, and the target devices are modern browser andtablets, so we are doing responsive web design with Bootstrap. There is a lot of HTML5, CSS3, and tons of JavaScript, especially with RequireJS and Knockout. We need a full stack web developer, but the role is maybe 65% client-side development, 35% server-side.

We make code improvements and refactor as we go. We are big believers in creating tests first, or at least alongside, the code you write. We write tests in C# with MS Test and Should for the server-side code, and we use Jasmine for client-side testing.

We keep an up-to-date online task board with stories, who is working on what, and our progress. We communicate as needed via Slack/Skype/email/phone.
