Bright Funds is looking for a full stack web engineerto join our growing team of innovators, thinkers and world changers working to transform the charitable giving landscape through corporate workplace giving programs and beyond.

Since launching in 2012, we’ve partnered with some of the world’s most innovative startups and global corporations to offer Bright Funds’ charitable giving platform to employees around the world.

You’d be a good fit if….

You’re looking for a position where you’ll get to touch all levels of the stack. You need to be comfortable with deployment environments, writing database queries, building out backend services, and implementing pixel perfect UI’s. Your typical day may start by implementing a few animations with the help of our designer, followed by building out a REST API for an integration partner, and end by helping our support team resolve an issue or two.

You may choose to work from home, in our San Francisco office, or a combination of the two. Regardless of location you’re self motivated and always looking for a way to help out. You’ll let your commits and input show your value to the team, not the hours you spend in a chair. As the second full-time member of the engineering team, you’ll be expected to help contribute to decisions that will steer the product’s future.
