Medical device startup in santa monica and need a Full Stack Ruby on Rails Developer. Part-time contract for now, more work possible in future. We would like someone local to Santa Monica for meetings, etc.

Detalis skill set:

• work with software architect/business analyst
• ruby on rails or perhaps nodejs
• web services w/ json header authentication
• use services to encapsulate volitility
• database – PostgreSQL most likely – design and implementation. For lots of data and analysis.
• front end – html w/ responsive and modern design w/ jquery, javascript, etc.
• good communication – reply in timely manner, familar with slack
• coding standards and best practice, commenting
• unit tests / tdd
• source control Github
• auto builds, continuous integratoin
• work item – tasks, bug tracking
• setting up dev, test, prod servers
• deployment scripts to dev, test, prod servers including db updates
