Ourprimary task isfurthering the development of Quote & Apply (demo is at https://quoteandapply.io). Quote & Apply is a snippet of code that can be inserted into websites which allows that website’s users to quote and apply for life insurance. It’s the first multi-carrier quoting and eApplication for consumers. A consumer can purchase life insurance online from various insurance carriers without having to speak with an agent. We are distributing it to insurance agents/agencies, financial institutions, and anyone who wants to offer life insurance on their website. Quote & Apply is growing quickly and we want to expand its features and eventually apply it to other lines of insurance.
We are looking forsomeone who is agood developer, cares about theirwork, likes working on new projects,gets along well with others, enjoys a team atmosphere, and is able to work at least 40 hours/week.

You will join a team of myself (Reid Tattersall – VP/product manager) and our lead developer.
We are open to remote and/orin house with the ability to work remote and then transition to in house.
The salary range is $41-$50/hour. We do not limit the amount of hours worked so your income will range significantly based on the amount you choose towork. Hours worked in excess of 40/week are not paid at overtime. BackNine provides health, disability, and life insurance.
