Help us make the world a better place!
Each year Outreach, Inc. equips over 30 thousand churches to reach and serve their communities, helps more than 100 thousand church leaders be more effective in their roles, and delivers more than 500 million pages of thought provoking content to a worldwide audience – all made possible through an amazing diversity of systems and software designed and built by a small team of seriously smart and passionate user experience designers and software developers. But we’re growing and we need help. So if you’re a Full Stack . Net Web Developer with a curious mind and drive to do excellent work, we’d love to hear from you.
What you should expect
You’ll work on a team where learning is highly encouraged. We’re constantly trying new ideas, frameworks, and technologies.
You’ll work on a variety of applications and sites. You won’t be bored working on only one thing.
You’ll work in a casual and fun environment. Slacks and ties are frowned upon, and your basketball/ping pong/cornhole skills will be tested.
You’ll work in a close-knit, personable company. The CEO might stop by your desk to check out an application you’re working on, or you might play fantasy football with the COO.
Our product design and software development processes are grounded in Agile principles and informed by LEAN Startup and SCRUM methodologies:
We put our customers at the center of every decision – life is way too short to build something nobody wants.
We design and build to learn, then we build to scale – experimentation and learning are central to our approach.
We measure our results and test our assumptions – data informs our decision making, not the loudest person in the room.
We’re constantly learning and growing as individuals and as a team – a growth mindset and strong drive for continuous improvement is a must.
Our tech stack and tooling is pretty awesome, but we’re always looking for ways to improve:
. NET Core / C# / MVC
MS SQL / Entity Framework / LINQ
SignalR
SOLR
Bootstrap / Angular / React
HTML 5 / CSS 3
We’ve been leveraging virtualized environments since the early 2000’s, but in 2017 we’ll be moving to the cloud with an architecture-first approach:
Defining our infrastructure in code
Migrating to microservices
Embracing DevOps
