Responsibilities
You will be working closely with the Chief Technology Officer and the rest of the development team following agile methodologies. This will involve directly contributing to FUSION’s development, AKTEK’s flagship software product, built on MERN stack using MongoDB, Docker and other technologies. From time to time, you will be asked to travel to client locations (Eastern Europe, East Africa, Middle East/North Africa, Latin America and more) to help install our product on client premises and support implementation (on-boarding, training, server management and more), a great way to vary the day-to-day and offer personal and professional growth opportunities!
Requirements
- Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
- More than 1 year of experience as Full stack developer on the MERN Stack (MongoDB, ExpressJS, ReactJS, NodeJS).
- More than 1 year of experience of administrating Linux (Ubuntu) servers.
- Solid understand of basic Git principles.
- Solid understanding of SQL and No-SQL Databases (MongoDB).
- Comfortable working with back-end API and data integration such as GIS (ArcGIS), Salesforce, Google API, etc.
- Strong command of English language, ability to work effectively and efficiently with remote teams.
- Autonomous and interested in self-growth.
- Willingness to travel from time to time for short-term assignments on client sites around the world.
Additional points for:
- Native Arabic and/or French language skills.
- Knowledge or willingness to learn and work with Python and Ruby on Rails (legacy instruments).
- Communications skills with experience leading workshops or training sessions.
