Core Job Duties, Responsibilities + Preferences:

• Experience working on full-stack Rails-based projects composed of multiple custom gems/engines. • Skills includeiOS and Android mobile development and data analysis. • Strong knowledge of Ember.js is required for maintaining the front-end of the application • Strong understanding of REST-based APIs is critical for maintenance of the backend + middleware. • In-depth knowledge of Ruby/Rails, Coffeescript, Emberscript, Emblem, and Slim. • LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySql and PHP) with WordPress skills. • Ability to manage CSS, Javascript, new templates (HTML), SEO, & adjusting areas of the Admin. • Focus on UX/UI; design experience preferred • Experience developing and supporting APIs • Familiarity with Git, GitHub • Able to mentor and lead junior developers. • Experience with JavaScript or Go a strong plus. • Strong team player, but also knows how to be an individual contributor. • Has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
