Clique is looking for a talented back-end or full-stack engineer to join as a CTO. We are a Seattle-based start-up building a group-focused social platform that makes it easy to share what you are browsing online with friends. We are building an alternative to purely algorithmic "personalization" solutions, creating a platform based on the idea that our friends know what truly inspires and excites us.

This position offers a lot of flexibility and autonomy but requires a real self-starter. Successful candidates will be able to execute aggressive development plans in a dynamic, fast-moving environment with little guidance. Initial work will consist of implementing a feature buildout in a Lean UX/Design framework as well as managing the code base to ensure scalability. The position is part-time with the opportunity to expand to full-time dependent on individual and company performance.

Qualifications:

• Experience in API development for multiplatform applications
• Strong responsive front-end development experience
• Proven ability to set and meet goals in a fast-moving environment
• Demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems

Preferred Skills:

• Previous early stage start-up experience
• Full-stack development experience

Salary and compensation

$50,000 — $80,000/year
