RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with a strong team of Designers, Developers, and Marketer to build, refine, test, and debug new and existing features
Solve complex problems related to front-end web development and provide accurate estimates and scope for team deliverables
Help the company improve development standards and processes
Contribute ideas to project planning
Participate in company strategy and product roadmap meetings
WHAT WOULD MAKE US LOVE YOU
Have a background as a lead software engineer or technical management
Work experience with MeteorJS, NodeJS, and/or Mongo
Involvement in MeteorJS, NodeJS, and/or Mongo open source projects
Engineering experience in a growing B2B SaaS company, and/or web apps that have had to scale.
An interest in ops, perhaps with monitoring tools, Chef, AWS, and Opsworks
Engineering experience with real-time live updating apps
Experience with the Twitter and Facebook APIs
Have implemented and run scrum teams before, either as Scrum Master or something similar
Knowledge of basic DevOps tools, or experience working with DevOps teams.
Have grown and led engineering teams of 5+ people, ideally in a startup or high performing software environment
