Due to trivago’s eagerness to push quality even further, we are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer who has a passion for Web Design to join our Display Email Affiliate Marketing department. We want someone who can drive trivago’s email marketing campaign to the next level by pushing the boundaries of our current Frontend Development techniques. If you are a master of HTML and CSS and want your designs to be viewed and enjoyed in 50 countries worldwide then this is the job for you!
Your tasks:
Develop dynamic email models for our Display Email Affiliate Marketing (DEA) department.
Abstract content from DEA and work closely with the designer to create target group focused appealing emails.
Test, analyse and optimise emails generated by tools like ExactTarget.
Evaluate existing email models and adapt and enhance them using your technical expertise.
Support the DEA department with CSS/HTML dynamic banners and continuously strive to optimise their appearance and function.
Your profile:
You have completed an apprenticeship in Web Design or have relevant experience.
You have at least 1 year of work experience in Frontend Development or Web Design. On this note, we ask applicants to attach their Web Design portfolio to their application. Please also use the motivational letter to showcase any other designs or creations that you’re proud of!
You are an expert in the field of HTML and CSS.Responsive Web Design knowledge would be a huge plus as you will be designing emails that will be viewed on various devices and browsers.
You speak English (our company language) fluently.
