Role Purpose:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Frontend Manager with extensive Next.js experience to lead our frontend development team. In this position, you will guide the architecture, development, and deployment of web applications while managing a team of frontend engineers. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver high-quality, efficient, and user-focused web solutions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the frontend team, offering mentorship, direction, and support to ensure successful delivery of project milestones.
• Design and build scalable, reliable, and maintainable Next.js applications, applying best practices for performance and user experience.
• Partner with product, design, and backend teams to ensure frontend work aligns with business objectives and project needs.
• Define coding standards, review code, and enforce best practices to maintain a clean and consistent codebase.
• Optimize applications for speed, accessibility, and SEO using Next.js features and modern technologies.
• Stay informed about the latest frontend and Next.js advancements and encourage adoption of valuable new techniques and tools.
• Assist in planning and organizing team workloads, setting achievable deadlines, and tracking project progress.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training efforts to grow a strong and unified frontend team.

Requirements:
• At least 5 years of professional frontend experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role and 3+ years working with Next.js.
• Strong skills in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Next.js, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with modern frontend tools such as TypeScript, Redux, Webpack, and Babel.
• Understanding of REST APIs, GraphQL, and server-side rendering concepts.
• Strong grasp of responsive and adaptive design, with experience building for multiple devices and screen sizes.
• Demonstrated success leading and managing frontend teams, with strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Trello, with the ability to handle several projects at once.
• Knowledge of SEO, web performance, and accessibility standards.
• Proficiency with Git for version control and team collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud, along with experience deploying Next.js applications.
• A strong sense of UI/UX principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with design teams.
• Contributions to open-source projects are a plus.
