We’re looking for a salaried full time frontend engineer with web development experience, specificallywith Coffeescript, Backbone.js & React. You will be joining an existing team of 18 to work on ourserver monitoring and cloud management service,Server Density.

You will be able to work remotely with regular visits to ourcustom designed London office alongsidethe other members of our team. We use tools like Hipchat, Google+, Google Hangouts, JIRA andGithub to collaborate in and out of the office.

For this position, we are recruiting only from the UK and Europe.

What will you be working on?

• Front-end engineering – you will be working with our new UI based on Coffee-script, Backbone.js, & React. You’ll be designing, building and usability testing new functionality and improving existing features.

• Feature development – we have a long roadmap and you will get to lead development on major new functionality. This isn’t backend internal work – everything will be customer facing.

• Customer development – you’ll get to see how our customers use the product on a daily basis so you can help fix bugs and improve existing functionality based on real feedback. Why have a stock reply we send to hundreds of customers experiencing the same problem when a quick code fix can solve it once and for all?

• Writing for a large audience – our blog at https://blog.serverdensity.com is extremely popular as we write about common problems and interesting developments we’re experiencing. Tell people about the cool fix you made and why it worked so well.

• Proactively improving workflows – We are constantly trying to do things better. You should be able to spot problems with the product and our workflows and you should be comfortable highlighting them and discussing how and when to fix them.
