WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As Frontend Engineer you will be the genius in charge of the functional implementation of a user interface. You will focus primarily on the client-side development and implementing the visual design concepts and interaction design of the UI Designer(s). Your part will be to code the visual and interactive elements our technology interfaces to work intuitively for our users as well as provide creative design feedback to the UX/UI Designers on wireframes, prototypes, layouts and mockups. As Frontend Engineer you will:

Coordinate and collaborate with the user experience, design, development, and engineering teams on functional implementation of design

Build and develop functional and appealing website, web application, and test sites for CorQuests based on data provided by UX/UI Designers and provide website maintenance and improvement

Translate static mockups, wireframes and prototypes into working lines of code and live interactive experience

Write functional requirement documents and specifications

Create consistent and responsive cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device CSS

Assist Backend Engineer in coding, security issues and troubleshooting

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and other web development programming languages

Strong working knowledge of SEO/SEM best practices

Strong working knowledge of browser testing and debugging

Strong working knowledge of creating, editing, or modifying templates for a CMS or web development framework

Fundamental knowledge of PHP and other server-side programming languages

Salary and compensation

$40,000 — $100,000/year
