We need to create 4 buttons:

1) buy this tune on iTunes store 2) buy this tune on Google-Play store 3) buy this tune on Amazon-mp3 4) play the 30 second song sample that is freely available on any one of the above sources or any other (legal) source

Your input for each time we need the four buttons above is:

1) title / artist of the song in question 2) one or more MBID (Musicbrainz ID) for a recording in the musicbrainz database

Your task involves a few steps:

1) research the APIs of Amazon, Google and Apple for the buy buttons and what it would take – this may involve contacting them if we cannot find a way to construct our buy buttons and asking if they can provide us with more info on how to do that.

2) research into if and how the Musicbrainz MBID can be used to connect with the Amazon, Google and Apple data, or whether we need to only use the title / artist combo or whether we can use anything else that’s available in the Musicbrainz database to better locate the songs we need at the 3 music stores

3) implement the buttons in the existing API – it’s an AngularJs / Ionic framework app – if you don’t know ionic that’s OK, we can help you with the Ionic/Angular part – it’s really easy to add four buttons in Ionic

This is a contract job, but we hope to pay on a project basis, not hourly, after both parties agree on a contingency plan with two phases:

Phase I

Planning. Outcome of this phase is a detailed work plan with detailed estimates of hours spent at each part of the project – only if both Tracktunes and the contractor agree on the work plan does phase II begin.
