Assembly exists to transform the way data is used in education.

Our aim is to make it easier for schools to make use of their data and to improve access to innovative edtech. Our secure cloud-based platform helps developers connect to a school’s Management Information System, avoiding manual data entry for teachers wanting to make use of new education apps.

We are looking for a front end developer to work on and around our platform and user facing web apps. We’re looking for someone with great software engineering skills and an excellent track record in developing user friendly front-end interfaces.

About you:

• Excited by the idea of working in edtech (though experience in the sector is not essential).

• Good at both working with a high degree of autonomy and collaborating with other developers.

• Comfortable working within an agile environment, including pair programming, test driven development and continuous delivery.

• Equally as passionate about great design as writing great code.

• Happy to work in a cross-functional team and work across projects as required.

We’re a semi-remote team, and open to those who wish to work outside of London. However, as this role is subject to a DBS check and data protection rules, remote candidates must be based within the EU and will be expected to travel to London from time to time (expenses may be covered).
