Stealth mode startup seeking like minded Sr. Front-End Engineer! PacketFabric is creating the simplest way to connect networks to exchange traffic, regardless of location. As a well rounded software engineer, you should definitely be the type that appreciates diversity in your day, and challenges outside of your comfort level! This position is a full-stack development position, but will have extremely high focus on front end development work. You will own the entire front end application, so you must come armed with a solid understanding good programming principles, have a nearly magical intuition for good UI, and excellent understanding of front end frameworks.

A typical day in the life of a PacketFabric software engineer might include these types of activities:

• Architecting completely new features, or a completely new section of the client side application using your chosen framework and designing with code reuse, client experience, and speed in mind.
• Scrutinizing page load times and refactoring code to optimize user experience.
• Working closely with the UI/UX lead to add some intuitive and well thought out features to the client side application to enable users to make rapid network changes
• Working with back-end engineers to quickly adopt API changes for a rapidly shifting feature set.
• Interacting with customers and/or sales on a bug in the software, quickly resolving it, and coordinating across the team to push a fix.
• Researching additional ideas you may have to improve the product/platform overall and sharing with the team.
