The Opportunity:

Mitten is recruiting a talented and driven developer to take part in building out a POS/CRM solution for small medium sized businesses in Europe and the USA. You will be joining a strong and fun team of Mitten founders who are passionate about developing the Mitten platform. We are looking for a dedicated, smart and ambitious engineer that would add his expertise and help bring our startup to the next level.

The Position:

You will be a key person working on front-end part of the project. If you also know iOS, you will be managing the work of the whole engineering department. You will have the freedom to choose the right language for the back-end and will be responsible for key architectural decisions.

Specifically:

• software engineering experience, with personal/open source projects a big plus • Track record of building and implementing scalable, efficient web or mobile applications, third party integrations and data analysis programs • Solid experience with several of: Python, Javascript/AJAX, SQL, objective C, database design • Demonstrated history of solving tough problems with creative and analytical solutions • Experience building payment processing and mobile payment solutions a big plus • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Desire to innovate in a fast-moving industry and be a part of a growing start-up.

About the company Mitten’s vision is to improve the customer experience in small and medium sized businesses with Mitten POS and CRM platform. Mitten is currently focusing on Beauty Salons and plans to move to other verticals in the nearest future. Mitten raised seed capital from top angels and funds.
