Quartet was launched in late 2014 and is backed by some of the best investors in the healthcare industry. We’re creating a platform to identify patients at risk for developing mental health and chronic medical conditions and route them to the right providers and the right treatments. These patients are often lost in our healthcare system and don’t get the right care at the right time. We want to fix that.

At Quartet, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a nimble, entrepreneurial team. We pride ourselves on utilizing a variety of cutting edge frameworks, languages, and methodologies—here are some things you can expect to work on in your first few months here:

• Help us figure out our distributed micro-services strategy based on SOA/EDA principles

• Work on existing systems in Python, Javascript (io.js and React), and a bunch of AWS services and create new systems in whatever tech stack it makes sense to introduce

• Write unit and integration tests to ensure your services are working before deployments

• Create monitors, alarms, andrun booksto make sure our systems are healthy and how to fix them when they’re not

• Document the design of software you write

• Lead diagnoses of suboptimal outcomes and learn from them to improve our processes and software

• Make yourself and those around you better engineers
