Spark is hiring a front-end developer to make simple and elegant interfaces in a world filled with ugly crap: engineering tools.

Engineering tools like Spark’s tech stack exist to make an engineer/designer/developer’s life easier. Yet they so often don’t. We believe that engineering tools should be as easy to use as consumer products, because everyone likes easy. At the same time, they must be advanced enough to handle the complexity that advanced users will throw at them.

Our web IDE was built from the ground up using Ember.js and Ace code editor. Your job would involve expanding upon existing interfaces like the web IDE to make them better, and building new development and administrative interfaces for Spark’s users, who range from Saturday afternoon hobbyists and artists to product designers and professional engineers.
