InviteBIG is seeking an ambitious, deadline driven individual interested in developing a uniquely challenging, interactive event booking platform with our startup team. Applicants must have several years of experience writing custom HTML, CSS, and jQuery. Expertise writing front end code using HTML5, CSS3, and W3C coding practices is also a must, along with an understanding of basic design concepts, progressive enhancement, and responsive design. Experience with PHP and Twitter Bootstrap is a plus, but is not requirement.

Additional requirements include:

• Familiarity with browser testing and debugging • Expertise in performance optimization using tools such as YSlow or PageSpeed • Ample experience creating pixel perfect HTML5 and CSS3 based on Photoshop images • An understanding of UI/UX best practices • In-depth knowledge to utilize custom JavaScript and jQuery libraries • A firm grasp of SEO / SEM best practices

Compensation

This position consist of a mix of cash + equity for the right person. The exact amount of compensation is negotiable and will be based on the selected candidate’s experience and commitment to the project.

As we gain customers and investment, this position will turn into a full-time position, and we expect the person we hire to be willing to make the transition. However, as of right now, this role is only part-time.
