Responsibilities: Work closely with project managers and other developers to design, develop and deploy project-specific applications that: Present information efficiently Follow industry best-practices Meet functional specifications and requirements Creatively solve problems Ability to potentially screen and hire independent contractors for project-specific jobs Write well-formed, well-placed, and well-modularized code Knowledge of JS design patterns, current issues and practices
Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS from a top tier university Minimum of 2 year experience in front-end web development Advanced experience with at least one Javascript Framework Advanced experience with JS, AJAX, HTML5 and CSS3 Effective communication and organizational skills Aptitude for learning new technologies and languages as required Experience with Git version control system and Git Flow Comfortable working in Mac and/or Linux environment(s) Ability to work collaboratively with cross-departmental and interdisciplinary teams Preferred Qualifications: Start-up experience Eye for design and usability Experience with web services (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML and XPATH) Experience with public API’s and open-source or paid libraries (e.g., Stripe & Twilio) Some experience with PHP (in a Laravel and/or Cake framework) Some experience with DBs (e.g., mySQL, Postgresql, MSSQL and MongoDB) Some experience with DevOps. (e.g., AWS EC2, RDS and Elastic Beanstalk)
Compensation: 5-15% of net revenue generated depending on level of experience Full-time W-2 (employee) role, salary, benefits and equity-holding position possible for top performing candidates after 2 to 3 months
