As a Front-End Developer, you are responsible for developing all, client facing interface, whether it’s the App, mobile or the website. Together with a completely new team, you create and improve the several interfaces.
You start your day with the first story on the backlog in Jira. Which could be anything, like creating a “single sign on” for all different apps we have. Because we strive to achieve a high test coverage to guaranty the best possible code quality, we review each other’s code (like an implementation of the new MFP SDK) and try to learn from each other whenever we can. We continuously test and analyse the performance of our systems to keep up with business needs.
All the teams follow the Agile way of working so of course you participate in the daily stand-up every morning at 11.00 AM and will you work in a two week sprint-cycle.
And to make it better every day, you’re always looking for trends and developments in the market that could be helpful to Jumbo.

This is what we’re looking for in our Front-End Developer
Are you the person who has experience in an online environment, able to build bridges and work together with both business as well as IT colleagues. But also able to handle the dynamic environment and walk the extra mile.
And furthermore … You have a bachelor degree; … You have at least 4 years of experience as a Front-End developer, preferably in an e-commerce environment; … Do you have experience with CSS, HTML5 and JavaScript; … And experience with the following frameworks: Cordova, Sass, Ionic, Angular, Bootstrap; … You also have experience with API management, preferably IBM; … You will get bonus points if you experience with; Android, Swift (iOS), Nodejs, Swagger, Git, Typescript. Even more bonus points if you have experience withAEM, Adobe Experience Manager. … And Unit testing, performance, cross browser compatibility and clean code is just the thing you do
