Freight Forwarder

An exciting opportunity for a Freight Forwarder to work for a leading shipping, freight forwarding and logistics company has arisen.

Important – this position is based in West Africa. You must be willing to live and work in West Africa permanently.

As the Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for supporting operational and commercial activities of a busy logistics/freight forwarding and shipping business.

The role will involve:

• General freight forwarding operations (land, air, and sea)
• Shipping and husbandry services
• Mining and oil and gas project logistics
• Maintaining customer relationships
• Involvement in winning new business

Requirements:

• Must have previous experience in the logistics and freight forwarding or shipping industry
• Experience of working in Africa is highly advantageous
• Excellent communication skills are a must
• Must be driven and hardworking
