Purpose

Monitor and investigate financial transactions for potential fraudulent activity, detect patterns of suspicious behavior, and develop strategies to prevent fraud. The Fraud Analyst will also need to provide detailed reports to relevant stakeholders, such as law enforcement, on suspected cases of fraud. The Fraud Analyst must have the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the fraud landscape and use their knowledge of industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.

Role

Fraud Analyst will be responsible for investigating and assessing suspicious activity to minimize financial loss from fraudulent activity. Duties include monitoring customer transactions, assessing risk levels, and analyzing data to identify trends and anomalies. The role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Business, or similar field

• Proficiency with fraud detection software and tools

• Data analysis

• Statistical analysis

• Prior experience with malware analysis, risk analysis, and risk management

• Creative problem-solving abilities

• Logical thinking

• Strong communication skills (English/Spanish)
